Sensei Neville Moore started training in Kung Fu in his 20s. He trained for about 5yrs but stopped when he moved to Lincolnshire. His children wanted to start Karate but would only go if Neville started with them. From that day he was hooked and when he graded to 1st Kyu he deceided to train with as many top instructors as possible and not bother with further gradings. 11yrs later, in 2002, he decided to go for his 1st Dan under Sensei Lomax at the age of 53. Sensei Lomax introduced Neville to Sensei Shinji Akita in 2004 and he passed his 2nd Dan with Sensei Akita in 2008. Sensei Neville and his club joined the Ilkeston Shotokan Karate Association, Chief instructor Sensei Kevin Lomax 5th Dan, in 2017 and regularly attends training sessions with Sensei Lomax in Nottingham.
